| | | i've always found that mens disposable razors work really well. especially the schick fusion they just came out with. they really get the closest shave.
also the schick quattro for women works pretty well too. |

| | | Can I make a non-recommendation? Don't use the one with the block of 'moisturising cream' round it, it's not a very close shave, and I've always found it dries my legs out horribly.
I still like my good old Venus. |

| | | I like the venus too. But be careful getting hooked on it because replacement cartridges are like $2 each. I can't use disposable razors now, though, they give me bad razor burn and hurt. |

And when they get blunt, they really fuck up my legs, I have to replace them. |

| | | Ok , check it out-
im supersensitive, and I used to have this prob where I'd shave my legs and I'd have little pricklies like an hour later- my legs were never soft, and I ALWAYS GOT RAZOR BURN. it was terrible. (oh I use a venus by the way) So i dicovered this stuff that seriously saved my vanity, gave me hope, ya know... so that I wouldn't always be the girl with prickly legs (oh I was a stripper too, and to be a stripper with prickly legs is BIG TIME FAUXPAS)
it is (drumroll please)
Aveeno positively smooth shave gel AND lotion (you use after you shave- get it?)
Everybody I've turn onto it (about 10 people so far)swear by it. IT REALLY WORKS. it makes the skin really soft, and it makes the hairs softer over time the more you use it. I used to use the lotion for shaving until they came out with the shave gel. I got guys to use it on their face too- they love it.
have I made my point? its not in the razor, really, but a good razor helps.
I have the venus which is the same damned thing as a mach 3 but my roommate would tell you that the mach 3 is WAY better. I still say its about the lotion though. |

I used to have the same problem, but then I started using the Gillette women's gell without any colouring/perfume and it went. |

I still say its about the lotion though. | thats the best stuff ever. i use it all the time and it makes my legs soo soft. and i agree with whoever said (im too lazy to re-check) not to use the schick intuition (the one with the moisturizing block/shaving cream-ish/soap around it) its not a good shave, the cartriges ar really expensive, and the soap stuff always wears down and gets too low so that it doesn't touch your skin wile your shaving really fast. it just isn't a good razor in general. |

| | | i LOVE the intiution. its the only razor that doesnt give me razorburn & a close shave.
im really annoyed because the replacements i bought when i was in america a year and a bit ago, have run out so i had to go and pay the insane australian price for them. i bought up so many from walgreens they lasted for ages, they were on sale for like $4.99 for three of them. as opposed to $13.99 for three here. |

| | | Has anyone tried the Veet stuff that supposedly stays on during a shower and when you sponge it off at the end, your legs are hair free??
sounds like it's too good to be true, I think. |
