Please don't mind who the hair cut is on

I've been dying for a change...I saw this picture, I think I really like that cut/style/length/shape. And that it would look cute straight or cury like the picture.

I've been debating it for a week but I just can't decide.

What say you....??

how much is it that youre going to be cutting off?
and make sure you think of all of the things that go along with it.
like i always think "will i be able to put my hair up without bobby pins?"
"will this require more work than normal" blah blah blah.
Its kinda cute though.
It basically just looks to me like a normal layered bob. are you sure youre not looking at the curls and thinking theyre cute?
(sorry, i over-analyze hair cuts to the enth degree.)

it looks a bit matronly but also kind of cool in a joan collins/crystal carrington/dynasty sort of way. as long as you keep the way your hair is colored now, it should still look pretty young.

Well, I never wear my hair up, so I don't need to consider that.

As of now, it takes me an hour to get it dry with the hair dryer. Then I go over it with a large barrel curling iron to take the frizz out.
My hair is thick and wavy, I blow it out straight.
I think I'd be losing about 6" of my hair....and probably have a lot more free time...........

well, it IS just hair. i say go for it. youre talking to the girl who cut 14' off her hair on a whim on break from work one day. i walked in with looooooooooong pretty hair and left with punky short hair. good times.
i say go for it. youll have fun with new hair and if you hate it, its grows.

I thought about that too. I figured the same, since I have about 3 colors going in my hair now, that it might look pretty cool. I also don't think I'd wear it as 'done up' as in the picture. So it wouldn't look too old for me.

Wow 14 inches! That's crazy. How long did it take to work yourself up for that!

I am to that point of, 'fuck it, it'll grow back if I hate it...' but I don't think I'd hate it.....*arg*

your hair will spring back to life too, since i know you process it a lot. i just recently cut 4 inches from mine (it was absolutly mangled from the bleaching incident) and i cannot believe how much healthier it is!

the 14' thing was....stupid. i found this pic of clo that i LOVED. it was during her little fairy stint when she had that short hair that she flipped out at the side sorta? I wanted that. It didnt happen.

For as much as I do to my hair, it's surprisingly soft. It's a miricle.

I liked Cloves hair when it was like that too. Too bad it didn't turn out for you though....

yeah it was awful. i looked horrific. then i grew it out all long and pretty again and cut it even SHORTER. It was this crazy ass spikey dealy that i eventually dyed electric blue. ah to be 17 again.
but i say go for it. take lots of pics and show us!

i really like that style, maybe a bit shorter and slightly tighter curls, like drew barrymore in the 90s though. but same idea. i WISH i could look good in short hair. id love to do mine like posh spice has hers recently. but i look like a tard with short hair, my face shape does NOT work with it.

but yours, i think definitely suits short hair. and theres something about blond hair that just seems to look better in that style

Just keep in mind, Jessica's hair was probably styled by pros for an hour to get it to look the way it does in that picture. Your hair won't look like that just because you cut it to that length.

I'm not saying don't do it though. Shorter hair is so much easier than really long hair, so you might as well do it.

Meh....it's just hot rollers and hair spray.....it can't be that complicated.
It takes me an hour right now to get my hair to look how it does....so I think with it shorter, I'd be gaining time.
