Can anyone tell me whether Clarins and Redken test on animals?

L'oreal - Tests. Drug Store cosmetics companies that don't test - Revlon/Jane & Almay

Clarins - Does not test.

Redkin - Does test.

IAMS is the worst. Most dog food companies (and cat) DO test on animals, vivisection...it's disgusting. Took me a while to find my aniamls food that wasn't tested on other animals.

It is exhausting searching for animal friendly products, it takes a while, but for me, it's well worth it. Once you know who's safe, it's easy to shop again.

Definitely order the little animal friendly product list from Peta, it really helps as a quick reference when you're out shopping.

There's also whole stores like Trader Joes, where alltheir products are animal friendly.....we'll, except for their meat.

Most mainstream companies use vivisection apparently unless they say so....
I think it depends which source you go by. I use BUAV (British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection ...) (http://www.buav.org/)

And they say there are only these that don't test and/or use a fixed cut-off date (FCOD) (meanign they continue to buy in ingredients that may have been animal tested by its suppliers.
So these are ok by them:
