Yeah, I remember reading that the Body Shop used to have a 5 year rotation, meaning that they would use ingredients that had been tested on animals more than five years ago. I don't think they have that policy now; however, they have just been bought by l'Oreal. This is painful for me because their light touch concealer is the only one that's just about pale enough for my skin...
I don't think Redken do test on animals; not sure about Clarins.
EDIT: Damn, a quick search down this thread reveals that Redken is owned by l'Oreal; EVERYTHING seems to be owned by l'Oreal. That list's pretty good, but who's going to take it out shopping with them, really? Does anyone know if Boots own brand No.7 tests on animals? I used to be really careful about this, but it's so difficult - you can't buy everything from Lush, they don't have the range, I don't have the money!
I just looked at my Simple eye makeup remover and that said the rather-suspicious sounding "contains no animal derived ingredients" which I assume must mean that it was tested on animals. Oh, now I'm going to feel guilty when I'm taking my eye make-up off.
