| | | I guess I'll post it here...Hair! My hair is dead. Literally.
First there was the mohawk, glue, ironing, and constant dyeng
then came the growing out, more ironing, and mishap with the dyes
plus a straightening treatment
then came a medication that thinned my hair and made me loose almost a half of what it was...now its all crispy, frizzzy and not functional.
What's good to use? Particularly homemade stuff like avocados. Brand names welcome |

| | | my advice: cut it as short as you can possibly manage.
i think your best bet is to try and grow fresh new hair from scratch, that's why i would recommend cutting it as short as possible.
there are shampoos and treatment for dry damaged hair, mine was really bad after bleaching it, i just sed supermarket brands and it definitely got better. i can' suggest product though, i'm sure someone else can though

| | | if you're in the UK: dove is good, so is tresemme
just keep putting lots of conditioning treatments on it & hopefully it'll get some life back
but i agree with discolexy, your best bet is to let it grow again |

| | | yeah... starting from scratch would be a good thing i guess.
other, i recommand a drug and alcohol free diet and Lavera products if you can get hold of those. Here you can get them at the health store, the jojoba conditioner does wonders. |

| | | aussie deep conditioner
I cannot big this up enough
It turned my hair from frizzy and awful (I had it bleached for a couple of years) to all sleek and shiny. I also use trevor sorbie shine serum and that has also had a good effect. |

| | | Cut it. If it's already dead that's the only thing that will help it. I love the Redken All Soft line, you should especially get the Heavy Cream deep conditioner. Also, I've heard prenatal vitamins are good for your hair and nails. |

I dont want to cut it short, because it is fairly short.
And if I go short short, my hair will basically be buzzed.
Just grow it out, and when it gets long enough for your liking, just chop off the gross ends and peices. You might have gross hair for a while, but you'll have great hair soon enough! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
