| | | Permanent Hairdye and Pink Bathwater. I have never died my hair with a permanent hairdye before a week ago. This may, to those more experienced, sound ridiculous BUT isa it supposed to wash out, like slightly? I wash my hair everyday and everytime I do, even now a week later this hairdye is dying the bathwater pink and dying my towels too. It can't be meant to do this, right? It drips pink. I'm afraid this colour is going to fade way too quick (its a georgeous dark brown/black, red in the light colour). It's already faded considerably.
I used Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour. |

I used Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour. | You need an anti-colour fade shampoo and conditioner as well as other products for colour treated hair, otherwise the colour will keep running considerably after every wash and will fade faster. Some hair colours fade faster than others, havent tried the Nutrisse one yet but Id imagine its a decent permanant colour. |

| | | yeah, thats what sucks about at-home haircolor....its fades and comes out in the shower and on your towels.
its normal, dont worry.
Also, next time you dye it at home, make sure you stay in the shower for awhile rinsing your hair until the water runs clear. |

Any suggestions.
Maybe next time I'll get it done at the hairdressers |

| | | there are alot of brands of anti fade stuff try Elvive colour protect by L'oreal. My mom uses it and she's got fine hair.
or go to a chain salon that knows what they are talking about. If they can tell you about your hair type and products then they know their shit and its probably worth listening to them. These will also sell good brands like Red Ken and Kerastes which also have a range for coloured hair. |

| | | Sunsilk's really cheap, but really nice. The leave-in conditioner for brunettes smells like chocolate, too. |

| | It's normal for that to happen That usually happens for at least two days after I dye it. I'd reccomend either L'Oréal Colour Protect or if you've got some cash to splash, the Kerastase one to make it last longer. |
