Dating several people at once (ethically)

Do you feel like you have to say something if you want to date more than one person or do you only say something when you want to be exclusive? At what point is it fair to disclose? I've actually never tried juggling people before, so I don't want to commit any faux-pas. I will obviously stop juggling and pare down to one if/when one is of obvious interest.

How long will I be able to keep up casual dating with any given person? Why don't people like this? Why can't more women leave their UHaul at home?

I feel that dating more than one person is alright so long as none of the people you're "Seeing" are under the impression that you two are exclusive. Like, if someone was referring to me as their girlfriend, I wouldn't consider seeing other people without clearing it up first.

If you haven't known the person long, and you've only gone on a few dates and it's been very casual, then as far as I'm concerned you are not exclusive and you don't have to tell them what you do on your own time. But as soon as it starts to resemble any kind of 'relationship', then you really should have a talk about exclusivity and get it out in the open. If you want an open relationship then say so.

Oh, for sure. I am talking way more ambiguous than that. If there was someone I was ready/willing to call my girlfriend the other(s?) would get the boot. Or rather be put on the fast train to Friendville.
