I'm all for 'he's a bastard he's cheated on me' type threads, we all need to vent, but I'm feeling extremely postive tongiht so lets list things about our partners, the little things that make us smile when we think about them

I'll start...

* the way we lay on the sofa watching a film , he is layed behind me and he pushes the hair aside and gently kisses my neck and then hugs me tight

* laying side my side on the floor and him playing the guitar to me

* unlike certain exes of mine, he doesn't make me feel used only for sex. We have sex, but it's not that we HAVE to every time we see each other. This makes me feel special because I know he wants more from me than just a fuck.

* the way he puts vaseline on his dry lips and then kisses me and i get it all over mine (maybe gross, but awww )

* he remembers what i was wearing the night we met and every night since, even though he was always drunk.

* every time we see each other he'll comment on a different thing that looks 'pretty'

* His mate told my friend the other week that he really likes me and never stops talking about me

* the way he loves his friends and would do anything for them, and i liek his friends too which is always a bonus!

my list is identical to yours. every single point.

he also tells me how smart i am all the time.
if he doesn't know what i'm talking about, he'll ask. rather than just pretending/not caring.
he doesn't start pretentious music wars with me during music conversation (big problem of the past)

* the way he storms out of the bedroom when i come in late and tells me i use his house like a hotel

* the way he answers all my questions with nasty questions of his own
ie:
"do you want to come with us to the movie" is retorted with
"do you WANT me to come to the movie?"

* the way any amount of my happiness seems to only compound his constant state of misery

* the way he whines about his body but never takes any action

ahhh yes, god bless him.

Truly!!
*The way we act like an old married couple when we have not even been dating 2 months
*The sex is great
*He is adorable, and gorgeous inside and out
*I want to cuddle him and kiss him all over even when he hasn't showered in a week or shaved in a month
*He can be exhausted from a 10 hour day at work and will still work on his music
*He whispers sweet nothings to me constantly
*He makes out with me right in front of his friends
*He admits the age difference scares him
*He says the cutest, sweetest, funniest things. I just love him to bits.
*He is wonderful, simply put. I love everything about him. I don't even mind that he's a bit of a hypocrite lol

The greatest asset they all have is themselves. And yet does anybody promote that to them? Does anybody tell them that they are the greatest asset they have? Or are they steered to idol worship? Are they moved, are they motivated, are they inspired to look at the president or any politician as their only salvation? If they are, it's just a shame.
