The closest thing is a friend who is divorced with three kids living in a small town and driving trucks. He sometimes posts about UFC or depressing things about being in a small town.

I don't keep in touch, and I thought I was in love, and probably was, for what it was at the time. He added me to fb a year ago, then ,messaged me, but as I don't really care about keeping in touch, my response was a polite but to the point 'im good and I hope everything is good with you' which was queue that i was not willing to make convo.
I then deleted him along with a bunch of other people during a clean up. I don't know, a lot of people I dated in the past were not very friend-material, and I definitely don't care to be friends.

my first "boyfriend" was when we were 7 and we would go round each other's houses after school and watch cartoons and play in the garden. i don't think there was even any hand holding or anything like that. i haven't seen him in YEARS. but our mums became really good friends when me and him were friends, and they're still pretty close. so i know through her that he went through a ****ed up few years, took a ****load of drugs, dropped out of school etc. but now he's sorted his life out and has a steady relationship and an 18 month old daughter.

my first teenage boyfriend also has a couple of kids. i was massively in love (i.e. dangerously obsessed) with this guy for FOREVER and only actually went out with him for about 3 weeks when we were 14 and when we broke up i thought i was going to DIE and continued to obsess about him for another year. anyway. he got very fat and had two sons with a girl who he's now no longer with. and couldn't get a job (although i think he's got one now) and lived with his mum and spent most of his time playing xbox and posting depressing statuses on facebook. and part of me is really, really smug that my life is now better than his, because i wasted nearly two years of my life pining after him. but i know that's not very nice of me.

In Primary School I got a Valentine's card from a boy, so I sent one back. Think we might have got each other a Christmas present. That's about it. Not seen him for ages. No idea what he is doing now.
