Move. He will follow.

I will be moving out of Birmingham as soon as I graduate, my boyfriend will come with me. He wants to move to Oxford, however there are far to many bikes in Oxford. I'm pretty set on moving to the middle of no where.

But the UK is alot different to the US.. where ever I move I would pretty much be 4 hours drive away from my family.

if you really feel like this is something you need to do, then you can't ignore that

if he doesn;t want to come with and you don't want to stay, it seems like your lives are on different paths and it might be time to go your way. if you don't go now you may end up resenting him for it forever.

moving away from home on your own is pretty much the most amazing experience. it will be so awesome for you.

In my experience moves are always good, and I think you are at an age where it's less of a problem to move then it would be when you are older maybe? You don't have kids to consider, so really you are only limited by your imagination.

Everything is relative, so I don't think you are even suggesting moving that far, right?

It's not outwith the realms of possibilty for you both to move abroad, and in fact that's something I would suggest. It would be harder, but I am 100% sure you would have a great time, and a life changing experience. People were doing it hundreds of years ago, and it sure was harder then.

Even mention this to him, and then perhaps moving to the next state might not seem such a big deal?
