You aren't going to comfort/woo him into wanting a the same kind of relationship you want. He won't change unless he wants to - and trust me if you just keep on keepin' on the way you are then why would he want to?

If you want a relationship beyond this manipulative one (and I could be wrong but I get the sense from your post that you do) then you need to move on and away from this guy.

you're right in the title: you need to make up your mind. and so does he. i think you should tell him in a very straight-forward manner that he is the one, by acting jealous and contacting you daily, who is acting like this is becoming a serious relationship, and that for him to verbally say he wants otherwise is confusing to you and makes it hard for you to really determine what you personally want. so call him on that **** and make him account for the contradiction. if his response does more to confuse you and less to explain his feelings/motives, just get the **** out because it's not going to get any less head-****y, even if that's not what he's willfully trying to do.

but if he levels with you. and doesn't get defensive. and gives you a clear sense of how he feels that matches or can explain his actions then maybe it's worth figuring out if what he wants can work for you. but he's got to own up and clarify first. and if he won't he probably needs to suck it.
