ok im sorry but i need to vent a little and possibly get some advice. soo this guy who goes to my school added me on myspace and said he sees me around i said yeah i see him too and asked him how his spring break was, he said great you? i said pretty good. he said good to hear......yer cute. and i was really glad he siad that. im 15 and ive never had a boyfriend, and im really shy and yeah it was nice and i never thought id ever have a chance with him cuz he is really i dunno seems way better than me, he has like all these friends who are girls and they are like way prettier than me and i dunno i feel like maybe he does like me, cuz he said that and looks at me, but then i feel its all fake and he doesnt like me and is like making it all up. i dunno, i commented him back saying aww thanks you too. and then he didnt respond but i asked a couple days later whats up he said nothing you i said nothing might be grounded and that was it. i couldnt and still cant stop thinking of him, even before he said i was cute. i wish i wasnt too shy and i wish he wasnt so damn popular. any advice?

just talk to him about what you want. ask him if he'd like to do something sometime. i know you're fifteen so that's kind of hard. lots of people are shy, but you've got to work with it. you can't expect everyone to come to you. if he's "popular" and you're not, it's probably not worth it anyhow. besides, it's a high school relationship. they come and go faster than you'd know. honestly, at 15, there's not a whole lot of reasons why you need a boyfriend, so just relax about it.

ask him if you're up to it, and if he says no, then shrug it off. not the end of the world.
