It's not a big deal at all IMO. I've dated a few guys that were bald and shaved their heads.

And even when I was skinny and in my teens I had cellulite.

Anyways, I ask this because I'm about to turn 24... and I'm balding... like pretty bad. I never realized it could happen to me while I'm this young!

It's been very apparent since May. I haven't gone out to the bars or on dates because I feel so insecure. And I don't like to wear hats because I feel like that's almost being deceitful.

I'd like some input and insight on this... I feel so "wronged" if that makes sense.
I have a friend with a receding hairline. He puts Bald-Be-Gone goop on it and has been debating hairplugs for a few years now. Honestly, if he didn't talk about it so much I wouldn't notice.

I never notice when men have receding hairlines. It never registers on my radar. If you're balding badly...shave your head? I like a shaved look.

Confidence is key.

It's fine to say confidence is key but for some guys being bald will take away from their self-esteem and will hurt their own self-confidence. It's pretty natural, I think everyone likes having an option, that being able to shave their head if they want to or having hair.
Some guys can't shave their heads because their skull shape just doesn't work for it. Those are the guys that might be more affected understandably. In such situations there is the option of hair restoration surgery at a clinic. They cost a lot but seemingly work, and it's your natural hair so that's better than some wig or just having to live with something you may not want to deal with.

Whatever makes you happy, don't worry about others thinking you're vain. They aren't in your shoes.

I knew a guy who went bald completely in high school. I also know of a guy who went grey in high school funnily enough.
