It's no different than being addicted to posting on here, or being addicted to crystal meth, or sucking off tramps in hammocks, or posting on here while sucking off a tramp high on crystal meth.

There is no shame apart from what you feel. Shame is a human concept, and it only exists in your head.

Once you have rid yourself of your shame, you should be happy about playing world of warcraft. I think that's important, because why not be happy in what you are doing?

I'm sure it's a chemical like every other feeling and it's being released for a reason.

Is there a reason this is in love and relationships?
Are you perhaps ashamed because your other doesn't like you playing this game?

I don't think you should be ashamed. But if you think you're playing the game too much and neglecting other aspects of your life you should try to change that.

You should probably be just a little ashamed. Maybe not a whole lot, but a little. I mean, when you get to the stage of full-blown addiction, it's a little embarrassing, especially since it's not like there's some sort of chemical dependency other than the chemicals that you have trained your own brain to release.

You know, not to bag on you or anything, because I am clearly addicted to the Internet and message boards, and my MMO playing is just a sideline to that much larger and hungrier addiction. But I am, at least, a little ashamed of that. Not a lot, mind you, but still. At least I can stop whenever I want. *arm scratch*
