experiences?

i have done this twice. they broke up with me and were really confident about it being the right decision at the time. drunk of course. then they sobered up and decided they actually wanted to stay together and try to work through things.

shortly thereafter, in both cases, the relationship fell apart.

does this go down any other way?

i think the initial break happens for a reason
i'm sure in some relationships it's what helps fix what's broken and stuff gets worked out
