A couple of weeks ago I split with my boyfriend of 2 years. I begged him to let us just have a break and he just turned round and simply said "It doesnt matter how much space you give me, it will never be enough." and y'know what? it was ****ty and it hurt me so much, but it was right. I feel alive again for the first time in 2 years. Im actually really happy (infact HE is the one calling me everyday telling me how much he misses me and cant stop thinking about me.)

So yes, my advice is to just **** it off and live again.

Exclamation

She sounds extremely passive-agressive to me. Y'all have been together (?!) for 2+ years and she's spent the past 1+ years "not even letting you touch her"?? wtf? What the holy hell was that, if you don't mind my asking?
Bc I mean. Talk about distancing herself from you. Migod.

So, I just gotta ask: Is this bffGirl of hers someone she may have a big crush on? Cause it sort of sounds like an emotional dependence/enmeshment from what you've said, tbh.

Pretty sneaky of her to show up & take her stuff & leave her key without so much as a "bye, talk to you later". Not nice nor considerate imo

This sucks for sure. Honestly if she's going to treat you like ****, you def do need a "BREAK". Like, a very very long one. Say, ten yrs or so?

Jmo of course. People who treat you like **** shouldn't be tolerated.

Chyia, sigh

Relationships are like chains. They're only as strong as the weakest link. So when one person doesn't want to be there, then there really is no "there" at all any more. Everything else is just Kübler-Ross and you just have to do whatever it takes to get to acceptance.

Personally, I 've found the easiest route to acceptance is self-respect. I don't want to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't want to be in a relationship with me, because it's short-changing me and I am way too special to settle. It's a pretty decent coping strategy and it has the advantage of being true. However, it's also true that I spend a lot of nights alone

Offering emotional advice over the interweb is pretty much a waste of everybody's bandwidth but -- for what little it's worth -- you should take some time to grieve while always reminding yourself that you deserve better. And one day, hopefully soon, you will wake up to the fact that you're over her and ready for the rest of your life. Good luck!

you gotta work on being less jealous & more trusting

unless you've actually seen them together or have a rly good reason to think that she cheated on you or something

that's part of being independent too - having your own friends. not everything has to be centered around your relationship

as far as irl friends go, just talk to them about anything but her. i mean. it just makes it worse right?

clear things up with them about you and her splitting and then get on with it.

basically, breaking up is always ****ty - especially after a huge fight because it just seems like you could've worked things out if you had enough time and patience. but it happened so figure out what's next for you.

be analytical. like a guy
