I met a guy online and we met up this Saturday about 12 noon. We got along really well and were inseparable for 44 hours. I finally had to kick him out of my apartment Monday morning because I had to go to work, although I wanted to spend more time with him and have more sex. We talked later in the day and I am getting butterflies every time he contacts me or says something on Facebook, which is constantly.

I thought this had to be some kind of record for the longest first date ever. What a surprise then, to tell one of my friends about this and he shared a similar story about meeting one of his boyfriends, who he ended up dating for 3 years. They met at a nightclub and spent an entire week together. He said they went to work but they would immediately reunite when they finished.

I never knew first dates could be so long? It was such an unconventional surprise.

i think that's sweet. my last first date lasted for 3 days straight. and i've since married him. so when it clicks it just clicks i guess.
