I'm working stupid hours this week so I said that I need my sleep and I'd just go over to his place on friday night and spend the weekend there and that I'd think of "a thousand nice things to do."

I'm regretting it because 1. friday seems like an eternity away and 2. all I can think of is stuff which we always do. And I really thought I'd be able to think of like a huge list of fun things to do.. but I don't. I went to the tourist information site for the city and had a look around but it wasn't really much help cus like.. we live there and have seen the museums and parks and stuff. And I don't feel like trawling all the theatre websites..maybe later.

I thought we could go on a night picnic! But yeah...

Anyone have any flash of inspiration at all?

Is there a South American bar near where you live? In my experience they have super dancing! Go dancing!

Play to his interests. What does he like? What is he enthusiastic about? There must be somewhere you can take him based around that. You don't have to have loads of imagination to be thoughtful. If you heard him mention a film he want to go see, take him to the cinema, and then go for a walk or something. Or to his favourite restaurant?

Yeah the one thing I actually thought of was to take him to this vegetarian restaurant for dinner on friday. he's trying really hard to become one and i give him kind of a hard time about it.. in fun of course, but still. <3
