I went away for the weekend and temporarily fell for a long time friend. We kissed a lot. I felt so guilty about it that I broke up with my boyfriend the night I got back. I told him that if I could do that, then there was something wrong with our relationship. He told me he was willing to give me a second chance, but agreed we both needed time.

But before I could figure out what I wanted, he was pressuring me to ask him back again. Just yesterday I was thinking of ways to get him back (like playing a song for him after his class) and now he calls saying he's confused now and doesn't know if he could trust me again.

How can I regain his trust if at all possible? Please give me advice on what to do. Would a break be good and how long?

i think he deserves better, too. But he doesn't want to lose me and i'll never do that to him again. I just won't put myself in those situations if I have to.

mistakes happen, but personally you seem a little young. so, idk if i'd be committing to anything at the moment.
