so my best friend is moving back to texas next week. and my boyfriend and him used to be good friends (thats how i met steven in the first place). well they had a falling out about two years ago in which steven quit answering his calls and quit hanging out with him because apparently bff was talking mad shit about steven behind his back. so bff always griped about the fact that i still talked to steven and was always going on and on about he wouldnt approve if we dated blah blah blah, which he knew wouldnt stop me anyways. so steven and i started dating and now bff is moving back to texas and will be living in the same neighborhood as boyfriends brother and has made all kinds of threats to fuck with stevens car and try and fight him and what have you because steven spends a lot of time at his brothers place. so i made the mistake of giving steven a heads up about it and of course he overreacted and is now talking about how he's going to put besty in the hopspital etc etc. i should have just kept my mouth shut.
but now im at a total loss on how to diffuse this situation. they both hate each other. should i just let them duke it out? its just so brutish and childish and neither of them are taking into account that im stuck in the middle and its not fair to me.
has anyone else ever had this problem before? did you find some sort of resolve that didnt involve them both acting like total ass fucks?

not an option. i heart both of them. however i did let them know im not taking either side because i think theyre both acting like morons.
