Ok so I am half happy and half furious. A co-worker of my man apparently has the hots for him and has been calling him asking him out for drinks. He just called her back (after not answering her two calls and text) and told her he is sorry if she has the wrong idea but that he has no interest in her at all other than as a work mate and friend and that is in a relationship and that he wanted to clear the air so that there is no weirdness at work. She said she understands. (though I doubt it). Anyway part of me is happy he is the kind of guy who doesn't want to hurt a girls feelings and doesn't get a kick out of leading someone on by letting them think they stand a chance. Another part of me is mad because it bothers me that he will be working with her every day. Am I being incredibly insecure? What do you think of what happened?

I think you are right. I just feel a little insecure about it. Knowing there is a girl out there after my man- one who gets to see him so much cause of work/ Then again, he did shoot her down in a nice guy sort of way. I just hope she doesn't continue her pursuit.

You are right. I don't know why I am such a basket case. Like I said a big part off me IS proud of him that he didn't want to string her along and was upfront with her but the insecure part of me can't stand girls after my man. I need to grow up.
