Okay. This is a random last minute panic thread.

The new boyfriend took me to his friends birthday dinner last week, where I met most of his friends. Its a shame I drank to much wine and probably embarrassed himself and me..:/

So his girl mates have randomly invitited me to dinner tonight. Its sweet. However I am panicking. I do not know these people. They do however seem nice, unlike my exes friends.

Why am i panicking. Somebody give me do's and dont's. I feel like I made a total fool of myself last time I briefly met them, and am confused why I have been invited to dinner. Am I being vetted? Why am I stressing?

More importantly how do I redeem myself from my drunken ranting...

Maybe they invited you because they actually liked you? In other words...don't panic. It'll be fine.

Best bet - or at least, what I do - is to just apologise, early on, for if you said anything bad. Claim total alcoholic amnesia.

Maybe they are just being nice, however they ahve known each other eages and I feel a little awkward about making random conversation with people I met once. And he wont be there to hold my hand haha.

honestly i think it's charming they wanna kick it with you without the boyfriend. clearly you didn't make that much of an ass, otherwise they wouldn't invite you alone for dinner?

on the flipside they could be concerned for him, IF it was *that* bad (which i've noticed it seldom is as bad to other people as it is to us when we are the purpotrators of bad drunken behavior). if this is the case though just be yourself sans the wine and show them that you're really a decent person and it'll be all good.

guess it depends on whether they're in an open relationship or not, if they weren't it would probably not be the smartest thing to ask those questions bless you if you did though
