young men can very well be more mature than men several years their senior...my boyfriend's younger brother is a shining example of this...there's a 7 year difference, too, and my boyfriend is not exceptionally immature, either. his bro's just got himself put together better than most people i know.

i don't believe the maturity difference between a male and female of the same age past high school is all that much, though. In other words, individuals mature at different rates, i don't care which gender.
