I think a couple of years either way. Age matters less you get older. Having said that, i do prefer guys to be older just because my experience of younger guys is that they are immature, annoyingly so.

My friend is 30 and dated a 18 year old guy for about 2 months before she had to dump him cause all he wanted to do was play on his playstation and go to the pub. when they broke up he demanded she pay him back for the trainers he'd bought her as a present.. She wasnt put off of younger guys as she then tried it on with her landlady's 16 year old brother.

I'm just not romantically interested in guys who are younger or smaller than me. I also just prefer hanging around with people who are bigger than me in general. I have a bit of a complex in that I'm most comfortable when I'm smaller than everyone else.

Don't get me wrong, I love youngings and am all for people who date people who are younger than they are. I just wouldn't myself. It's a personal issue, not a gender-based one. Maybe it's partially because I have a younger brother. Also, I appreciate maturity in a person and rare is the case that someone younger than me is as mature as I am.
