im 28, and ive started talking to a 34 y/o woman. We're planning on meeting. We seem to have a lot in common. I dont see anything wrong with it.

I think it is fine for a bit of fun. In the long term though it can get a bit frustrating. Although I think that depends on the guy. I find a lot of guys my age (23) rather immature- not that I want to settle down and have kids or anything creepy like that, but I would rather not date someone whose idea of a good night out is drinking til they puke all over my bedroom.
