Is it okay for your partner to see hir ex socially?:

VOTING TIME
Would you be okay for your current partner to see his/her ex socially? Assume you have no specific reason to believe that he or she is nobbing them. NOTE: If it's okay only if you are with them, vote "Yes, if...", rather than "Yes".

Vote even if you have to explain later. It's not a private poll, so you might want to think about it a bit first.

Yes
on condition;
Only if I was 100% certain there were no residual traces of feelings left. That and I get to hang sometimes too. If the ex gets to know you they'll feel an extra bit guilty if they do try and pull a quickie.

I don't have to worry about it but if I had to, there you go.

Define "feelings"?

I speak as someone who has a purely platonic friendship with an ex that's lasted a good five years without either of us slipping the other a pork-flavoured handshake (whatever that means), but I still feel the same way that I did about him at the time we were dating. We are, and have always been, really good friends, and we ended up dating because we didn't know the difference between being really good friends and boyfriends. I think I'm probably not the only one who's been in that situation either. Point is, if someone forbade me from spending any time with him, then they'd be the one to go, not him.

Yes, if you trust them not to end up fucking rampantly. And if you don't trust your partner not to fuck their ex rampantly, the whole "partner" bit's a bit shitty for you anyway. Not really working.

If they so much as look at each other, kill them.
