I see smart girls turn dumb coz of them. My fucking best friend that I've known my entire life is staying with this stupid idiot that admited to her he still loved his ex. I tried to reason her, but she's trying to reason him why the fuck do some girls do that?! oh the whole "coz they're blinded by looooove" thing is BULLSHIT. I'm so mad coz I care so much for her, if it was about someone else I wouldn't mind, but she's really being dumb and she's not listening, like what the fuck happened to her reasoning?! she was always the one telling me not to be naive... /RANT.

No one wants to be second best. Even if he can "love" you at the same time, who wants to be with someone who has another girl in the back of his mind all the time? I sure wouldn't.

I think egos come into play more than love. They don't want to admit to themselves, "Hey, he doesn't want me" because they'd feel unloveable and unwanted. Which isn't true, they're just not loved by that one particular guy -- or he just doesn't love her enough to overcome his assholeish behavior.

yeah well I tried destroying that ego of hers in a harsh way. I basically repeated myself about " He loves her, not you. and it's not an amount of time. He'll never love you. Why would you wanna be with someone when that someone doesn't want you?" and shes like "I have to think it over". There's nothing to think over. that's what she should do, that's what has to be done. So the other guys she dated were assholes, now he treated her better than she's been treated in the past that only makes him a little bit less asshole than the other ones, but not great...ugh.
