I have been watching this quality do***entry called Sex with Mum and Dad (not about incest you dirty people), the basic premise of which is that parents and their teenagers come to see this Dutch sexologist (I want to do that for a living!) and she makes them all talk about sex, do all these silly tasks like putting barbie and ken dolls in all the positions they know, talk about losing their virginity, all those things you would NEVER want to do with your parents (it makes for amusing telly though).

So I was wondering, how much do you guys talk about sex with your parents? Would you be alright with it? Would you feel more comfortable talking to your parent of the same sex, or the opposite, or doesn't it matter?

I literally mentioned stuff about sex (that relates to me) to my mother about, maybe, three times, most recently because the pill was making my asthma bad and my mum went "why don't you come off it" and I said "cause I have sex and I need it for protection" and that was the end of the conversation and about as far as it goes.

I've never discussed it with them. And never will.

Yeah, I'm inclined to think I never will either. I know my parents (although divorced) must have sex, they know I do, I think thats about as much as either of us EVER want to know. My dad was very unamused that I was a nude artists model even though it was nothing dodgy.

I've never ever talked about sex with them and never would in a million years.
