last night i had a bad dream about an ex that i split up with a very long time ago now, possilby the only person i have ever loved and she hurt me alot and this dream has really set me up for the day

my question to you, lovely kr people, is has anybody else ever had a bad dreams (this ain't the first one) and whats the best way to get over people, seriously now. save me.

time is the only way you'll really get over somebody.
there's other things that you can do to distract yourself of course, but really, time is the only thing that makes it truly better.

as for the dreams. sometimes i dream about exes, but i'm glad all of mine are exes so i never wake up and feel bad.
but when my boyfriend and i split up for awhile, i would dream that he came back to me and then i would wake up and cry. and that was awful. so i know how you feel.

just try not to think about it too much. especially before you go to sleep.
or take some xanax and have a couple glasses of wine and you won't have to worry about dreaming at all.

its been a year and time is proving to be a slow healer...

plus to top off today, a friend of my first love has been explaining how much i broke her heart and that she is happily living with her new boyf...

I hate how a dream can ruin your whole day. I've had dreams of exes, dead reletives, loved ones being hurt. I think we all have. Just remember that you'll probably forget the dream soon enough.
As for her actual life- Life is full of heart-break, lessons, and relationships. If she's happy in her new relationship, that means she learned life lessons from her relationship with you and they changed her in a positive way.
I can't tell you how to heal, cuz you know my situation. If I knew what to tell you, I'd know what to do for myself. But I have plenty of hugz for you. Trust in fate and that there's someone for you and the wait is worth it. That's what I try to do. Patientce- even if it hurts.
