what they look like
well i can always provide a picture. i have one of us together but will refrain from posting it as everyone says we look like we're related.

what they are like
he's an aquarius. he's arrogant sometimes but i put him in his place. he's good with computers and thinks he's completely untalented but that's not true. if we had space he could be a good painter i think. i always give him books to read but he never reads them. i tried to get him to learn afrikaans but he didn't like that idea.

he used to like heavy metal before he met me but i exposed him to all the stuff i like and he's converted. he loves loreena mckennit but i wish she'd fall off a boat.

I have a stupid schoolgirl-like crush on my housemate at the moment (also, no-one in "real life" knows that haha)

He's not super HOT or anything, but he makes me laugh so much, and he is cute and endearing . And he has gone home for Easter and I miiiiiiis him His voice is soooo deep <3 and he booms and stomps about the house constantly, but not in an anoying way.

He is one of those boys who is just is not interested in girls (or boys or anyone); all he wants to do is get drunk and talk about planes and go mountain biking. These are the things he likes: planes, Radiohead, mountain biking, shitty indie music, and crap TV like Eggheads and the OC.

Also, I've been talking to my ex on the phone recently quite a bit and still like him which is lame and annoying.

ok. my boyfriend:
he has dark blonde hair and bluey-grey eyes like mine. we've known each other nearly 5 years and first got together back then when we were teenagers and he was my first love and all that. this time round, we've been together for nearly a year. he genuinely makes me laugh more than anyone else in the world. (he also knows how to piss me off more than anyone else.) we're planning on moving in together but i have to finish uni first and i still have a year to go. when he gets drunk he tells me he's going to ask me to marry him one day. he used to be a full time dj and love funky house and electro stuff but he's also into a lot of the stuff i like. he hates coming shopping with me but when we walk past shops he points out the dresses that would look nice on me.

My current crush is hundreds of km away from me, but being successfully stalked on my behalf by my mate Jake. They're both involved in the school of Political Science at my old varsity in one way or the other, and they even had a conversation the other day. I have his email, and am awaiting his reply.

I've met him a bunch of times, and whenever he saw me at summer school he was always excited to see me, and kind of breathless, and talked very fast and at times barely coherently. Naturally, he'll be straight, but I'd rather he wasn't. He's a bit stumpy, but he's ever so sweet and nice, and friendly, and hell, I like 'em kind of stumpy anyway... nice smile. Probably looks marginally like Sean Astin, which helps his cause. As does being very nice, and maybe just a little gormless, in a sweet way.

I hold out some hope. At the very least, I think I ought to make a friend. I like friends too. But I'd much rather fuck him.

I have no idea what music he is into, but I imagine it would be deeply unhip. I can handle that. I'll work on him. I know he is into Labour party politics, but we'll agree to differ over political stuff. In our hypothetical relationship I am building up! I think he likes sailing. He can take me sailing. Lovely. And he's from a small town, smaller even than the places I am from. For some reason, that really appeals.

he is 6'. short black hair, dark brown eyes. he's not thin or fat, he's got a good solid build. he has fair skin but he always gets a tan in the summer. he's always got a bit of scruff on his face cuz he doesn't shave that often. i honestly think he's the most beautiful man i've ever seen.

what they are like:
he's very quiet and shy. he doesn't like to talk to people not because he's not nice but just because he doesn't know what to say. he's a typical man's man - drives a big truck, loves baseball, drinks beer, fixes stuff, thinks fart jokes are the funniest thing ever. but he can also be very sensitive too, although that's a bit that's hard to bring out of him. but i've seen it. he likes to wrestle and play and chase me around the house and we're like two little kids together.

he likes rap and classic rock. we very rarely agree on what is "good" music.

we've been together since july of '05. with a six week break last october.

Yeah, only been seeing him for about 3 weeks.
I know all this complete and utter excitement won't last forever.
I am so bitter about realtionships now its unreal....but he makes me smile so I am just enjoying it.

He is lovely.
Basically I was being all moany to my friend Kay, saying how Shallow I am when it comes to men....and how I will find it hard to find anyone else.
I like skinny, small men who dress well. haha..and will NOT settle for less.
She was like "oh, you'll have to meet my friend Leigh, he is so your type"...about 10 minutes later walking through Topman, and who should be there....HIM! So we both chatted to him for a while, invited him to a gig we were going to that night. Me not exactly being a shy type, invited him out by himself to a club the following Saturday, and it all went from there really.
It is all pretty unbelieveable and amazing. haha.
