if you saw a movie and there was a character in the movie who had the exact same personality as your partner/gf/bf/etc, they either can look like them but its not necessary, do you think you would feel an immediate attraction to them?

perhaps it works better if they look different. so its just about their personality in this instance.

Umm... I've never really noticed. People like Stephen Fry I've always loved, and I think I like my boyfriend partly because he's like him... The other way round, though, I've never noticed. I'm more inclined to feel positively about someone who reminds me of him, I think. A lecturer the other day said something in a very him tone of voice and then pulled a very him face, and it reminded me of him and make me like the lecturer more.

Having fits of bi-polar and dissapearing for days might be one of the downsides

this happened with my ex, same type of personaility and i was attracted to it, but then we broke up and im not attracted to it, i think the same character is abit of a twat
also ruined a perfectly good film because i think of him when i watch it

I probably would because it is my partners personality which attracts me so much more than his looks.

i wouldnt say "attracted", but id probably sympathize more with that character than the others.

It is kinda bad when things go sour though because that celeb or that character in a film will always remind you of that person when you are trying to forget about them.
