from the time i was 16 - 19 i was in a relationship with a guy who was 5 years older than me. we had a lot in common etc and it was rarely much of an issue. after that, i dated a guy who was four years older than me. so i'm used to dating people who are older than me.

now i'm 20 and i'm involved in a fliration/thing with somebody who is 27. we have a fair bit in common, have a lot of the same friends, get along well etc but i'm still not sure if it's too much of an age difference.

what are your thoughts on age differences? how much older/younger would you go?

I don't think i'd go more than a year younger right now but older doesn't really bother me. I wouldn't have a problem with the 7 years.

The biggest age difference i know is one is 26 and the other one is 43 and they are happy together <3

I guess it's cool if the two are obviously in love, but half the same it's just some old guy who can't cope with anyone his own age because they don't respect his authroitah.

Ah it's been the same with me. I'm 20 and I was getting it on with a 27 year old, but we got on really well and it was just fun hanging out even without the sex. He said he didn't usually hang with 20 yr olds but we just got on so great.

Anyway, I think it doesn't matter, as long as it's not a massive gap (like anna nicole smith and her millionaire dead husband) that's just a bit ew.
