how would you go about txting someone basically saying, you dont have to try to make small talk with me, without sounding like a bitch?

we had sex and he sent the ' i dont want a relationship(not that you offered)' txt.
we then txt for a few more days because a problem OCCURED and we had too.
he works in a pub i go to alot and today he came down and my friend went to get a drink, he asked if it was for me then said so shes here? obv she said yes and he said i will go down and talk to her soon,
so he came down and stood infront of me and was like "hi, what have you been doing today? had work? was it good? are you here for long? are you going out anywhere tonight "

BLAHBLAHBLAH but it wasnt really like he wanted too? just 'small talk' and it made me feel uncomfortable and i want to kind of tell him in the best way that he shouldnt feel he has to? because it makes me feel sad, either want him to FANCY me and be sexy or leave me alone?!

small talk is the worst.
If you want them to go away...ignore them?
Oh shit...without being rude.

Smile and ignore them?

That's the whole trouble. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "Fuck you" right under your nose.” - J. D. Salinger

well i would txt them saying, dont feel like you have to make small talk with me because it feels abit weird.
BUT then that would seem like you didnt want to see them ever again? and if you go to the pub he works at alot then it will be weird?
hmmmmm perhaps you could just STICK IT OUT until things get back to normal?
BTW i totally think the bar man fancies the girl? why else would he be talking to her?
