So, I was really close friends with this girl, but then we fell out for a stupid reason and we never really made up. Anyway, I found out that she told people that I 'forced her into a friendship' so i messaged her asking what the fuck she meant and this was her reply:

"you just labelled me as your best friend and then everyone saw us as best friends but i always had other people i was close to as well"


It's really annnoying me, why would she say it? :/

i actually had this as well.
i was really close friends with a girl who went around saying "oh we're best friends, we'll always be best friends"
she got snotty, then went around saying "becky said we were best friends but we never were"

funnily enough she stopped saying it when i dug up the myspace comments/messages/emails where she spouted crap about us being bestest friends 4eva.

you should start telling people she forced you to do some very dirty things.
see how quick she shuts up then.

you cant "force" someone into a friendship if they dont want one. what a load of bullshit. she probably thinks shes too cool for you or something equally ridiculous and is concerned about her "image" and is trying to save face.
