Most men who can't be bothered with complexities of another human gravitate towards lighter things, such as easygoing relationships with fun-loving, smiling individuals whom they perceive to be the "light end of their tunnel", so the blondeness, in a way, does physically represent some of that lightness. I also heard from people who went from blonde to brunette or from brunette to blonde that they feel more "sunny" and light with blonde hair. It is a mere generalization of course, exceptions always apply.
