I wouldn't know, not being particularly witty myself but i would have thought boys would tend to be jealous, because they're supposed to be the funny ones. They may be intimidated.
Then again, boys laugh at farts and penises.

when i was younger boys sorta resented the fact that i thought of something funny to say before they did. it wasn't really a good thing.

my boyfriend now doesnt really get my sense of humour though so it isn't an issue.
