Being asked questions

Is this just me or does this bug the fuck out of you when your boyfriend/girlfriend always wants to talk but only really ever ask you questions? for instants; my girlfriend always wants to talk, but she only ever brings up what i did today, or what my family did, or if my family and i or getting along.Now im not a big talker in the first place. I hate talking about myself and most of the time i prefer just to not talk.

If we do manage to get onto a topic other then that of me or my family she askes me "how do you know that" if i say something she didn't know or "where did you see/hear about" but i dont mean just like everyonce in awhile. i mean almost everytime we talk about something or i mention something she askes me where i heard about that. It can be something simple like a movie or tv. after 2 1/2 years it really bugs me to know that if and when we talk about something you have to give a answer of where you know this from.

Does anyone else have this problem ? or does this happen to you and you dont find it to be a problem?

I like talking about things, and it's nice to know people are interesting in finding out about me, so I have yet to reach my marginal utility as far as being asked questions goes. But it could happen. I guess if they were nosy prying questions... but still I'd probably just be flattered they were quite so intrigued.

I'm definitely an "ask too many questions" person, I often have to check myself when talking to people, especially people from interesting places I have never been who do interesting things I have never done. Not that anyone has ever said to me "aaargh! too many questions!!", but I'll bet some have been close.

It's probably a very good thing the two of us are not going out, unlikely as that would be anyway.

All girls do this. This is the part of being a male where you need to agree with everything and not complain about anything

Poor you, you have a girlfriend that cares enough (and listens to you obviously) about what you say to ask questions and make conversation with someone that she has been with for 2 1/2 years.. Poor you.. Either get over it & accept that your girlfriend is no mute and likes talking.. Or you should just go for one night stands so you don't 'have' to talk.. fuck..
