know what I mean....you really, really like someone, but in the pit of your belly you know you love this person and you kind of worry in a moment of happiness, while having sex, while cuddling, while off your skull on some pills, etc etc etc etc......you might accidentally just say "I love you" and then if she (or he, or......it) says it back, then you....are fucked.

I don't understand... if you know you love them, say it to them and then they say it back, why are you fucked? (unless I misunderstood what you meant)

It's such a tricky thing... you can love someone and do anything for them, even if you know they wouldn't do the same for you. Terrible business... even knowing what's right doesn't help; you just do whatever you can to be near the one (or ones) you love.

Ummmm how do you accidentally say it? Generally feelings of love are subconscious anyway. Besides "Love" and being "In Love" are different in my opinion. There are loads of people I say I love you to, but noone I'm in love with.

I guess if you're undecided about what you want to do about it? Sometimes I need some time after I know I have feelings for someone to get used to it and decide what I want with them.

I've never had the problem though. I can barely bring myself to say it when I mean it, let alone blurt it out accidentally. I've never said it first.
