As they go in talks with record companies
YouTube are in talks with record labels to post every music video ever made on their site.
The company hope to do this, while offering the videos to fans for free.
Steve Chen, YouTube co-founder said: " What we really want to do is in six to 12 months, maybe 18 months, to have every music video ever created up on YouTube. We're trying to bring in as much of this content as we can on to the site."
Reuters reports that the company have been in talks with Warner Music Group Corp and EMI.
The plan is to include record companies videos into the community features of the site, allowing users to add videos to their own profiles, as well as posting reviews.
YouTube.com currently accounts for 60 per cent of all videos watched online.
