With the release of her debut pop album quickly approaching, hotel heiress and tabloid favorite Paris Hilton </B>(
music) is ready to promote the set by doing what she'd probably be doing anyway: turning up at parties.
Hilton will usher in the Aug. 22 arrival of "Paris" with a mini-tour of CD-release shindigs that will touch down in the party capitals of Miami, New York City and Los Angeles.
"In each city, the mediagenic heiress will greet fans and autograph copies of her CD booklet at in-store signing events, followed by making evening appearances at CD-release parties, where Hilton will play cuts off the album," said a press release issued by Warner Bros. Records.
Details about her appearances are below.
"Paris" was made with the help of some of the hottest producers money can buy, including Scott Storch (50 Cent, Beyonce), Jonathan "J.R." Rotem (Rihanna) and Dr. Luke (Pink, Kelly Clarkson).
Among the songwriters who contributed to the set were Kara DioGuardi (Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Ashlee Simpson), Billy Steinberg (Madonna, Cyndi Lauper) and Sheppard Solomon (Natalie Imbruglia).
Rappers Jadakiss and Fat Joe appear on the album track "Fightin' Over Me."
The album's lead single, "Stars are Blind," reached No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, where it currently sits at No. 28.
