What do you guys reckon to t.A.T.u? i love them... European power-pop at its best...

i love them. it sucks no one in america even knows they had a comeback though..

most people think that since they read a little yahoo! article that they know all about tATu being "fake lesbians" etc. and then you try to tell them umm no, it's a bit more complicated then that.. read these magazine interviews with them.. and their just like NO I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM. it's stupid, but whatever. i know that tATu aren't "fake lesbians" and i love their music. i just wish their new cd did better! it's really good..

it is such a shame that people only focus on the publicity side of them. The albums are incredible and did actually kick-start a new wave of pop/rock emulated by Ashlee Simpson etc The devlopment of them from the 1st record to the second was fantastic... I did not agree with the svengali aspect of their early career tho... Ivan Shapovalov (or whatever his name is) is supposedly a paedophile... hence why t.A.T.u. broke away from him...
Richard and Judy in the UK interviewed him and laid into him soooo bad over it that the interview had to be stopped...

The first CD is one of my most guilty pleasures - Malchick Gay, Clowns, Show Me Love, How Soon Is Now? and the singles (and their Russian versions) are all really fun.

The second CD kind of sucked though.

I agree, the first cd I enjoyed quite more.
