New Adventures was their last true rock album, imo.

bunch of great songs on that one.
much better than monster & hi-fi for me.




they picked some pretty good songs for the collection but they left off old man kensey.
and i had no idea that they made some videos to some of the songs mentioned. i'd get it for the videos.

I was going to write about how much Up sucks, but remembered Su****ion, Diminished, Walk Unafraid, Sad Professor, Daysleeper & Falls to Climb are all genius. There's some absolute **** on that thing, but enough good stuff that I'm glad they got around to making it.

New Adventures in Hi-Fi suffers from too many good songs if that's even possible. Or maybe it suffers because they had released so many really good albums by that point.
It's so dense with good REM songs that halfway through you just start taking it for granted.
