Johnny Rotten finds Courtney Love amusing

This is an old article but I don't know if many of you have seen this.

Well, John, Courtney can be quite vindictive....

"Yes, but at the same time, she's absolutely amusing. Whether you laugh at her or with her -- mostly at her -- it's nonetheless an endless source of titillation!"

Madonna recently remarked in Spin that Courtney was interesting in the manner that an old, Tourette's-addled woman you see in the park is interesting.

"Oh, that's very funny!" Lydon laughs. "But I don't think it's that at all. I think it's just the spoiled brat syndrome. `I want! I want! I want!' With precious little content."

Thought it was cool.

If you saw his show on VH1 where he yells at the camera for 15 minutes straight, begging and insulting Courtney, trying desperately to get her on his show and pretty much falling apart in the process, you wouldn't be surprised. COURTNEY YOU HAVE TO APPEAR ON MY SHOW, COURTNEY, COURTNEY, I WILL DEBATE YOU, I WILL DEBATE YOU ABOUT NIRVANA, YOUR LIFE IS TAWDRY, PLEASE COME. COURTNEY YOU PATHETIC PIECE OF SLIME SELLOUT YOU ARE AMAZING PLEASE COME.

He is pathetic about her. I wonder if he's any closer to admitting that he's been absolutely obsessed with her for years upon years, but either way I think it's truly hysterical that the leader of the punker-than-thouest punk band of all time is obsessed with Courtney Love. He ought to be, though, considering she made better records.
