| | I saw Sonic Youth last week at a festival. They played a lot of songs from their new album and some very old songs on Confusion is Sex. I will try to remember the setlist...
1. Teenage Riot
2. Reena
3. Incinerate
4. Do You Believe in Rapture?
5. Lee is Free
6. Jams Run Free
7. Turquoise Boy
8. (song I didn't know)
9. What A Waste
10. Pink Steam
11. The World Looks Red
12. Shaking Hell
I'm sure that they played all the songs in the list... But I'm just not sure about the order... I'm sure about Teenage Riot and Reena being the two first songs and Pink Steam, The World Looks Red and Shaking Hell being the last songs.
They didn't play songs from Dirty nor Goo and they played only one song ( Teenage Riot) from Daydream Nation.
I was so glad to hear Shaking Hell
I hope my post will be useful even if it's late. |

shaking hell | while it would always be awesome to see Catholic Block / Schizophrenia or 100%, that setlist is awful. For a band like SY to have such an insanely huge catalog of music, to play 90% of the new album is just annoying. |

| | | At the Austin's show, at least they played 100%.
At the show I went to, a lot of people were screaming : "play 100%!" but they didn't play it. Some were very disapointed.
About one week before the show, I bought their new album. Without their new album, I'm not sure I would have appreciated the show. |

schizophrenia wasn't that good. it's an ok song but i've never warmed up to it.
i like 100% but you'd think out of all the songs in their catalog, they could've picked something else. 100% sounds like crap this tour.
deadsoul, you got the world looks red. i probably WOULD'VE fainted at that.

As Sianspheric wrote, it's a little bit disapointing they played 90% of their new album.
I'm not a big fan of the album Dirty, but 100% is probably one of my least favorite song on this album. I would have appreciated to hear one song from Goo. |

They gave you a false hope
I can understand that a band like Sonic Youth are excited to play their new songs... But I would have appreciated to hear Mote or Dirty Boots.
There are songs I like such Wish Fufillment or Titanium Exposé but I knew they wouldn't play them. But wishing they would play Mote was realist. |
