I can't stand it. It's unlistenable. The only songs I like are Oceania and Who is It. it's so fucking boring and it just bores you to death. It's horrible.

I really like everything Bjork has done up until Medulla. There she lost me. I even like Vespertine. And Generous Palmstroke is one of her best songs. But I still love her. Is she releasing any new music?

I liked Medulla... it certainly was different. But for me her pinnacle was Homogenic... All Is Full Of Love is fuckin' mint!

A masterpiece. The lyrics are the best ever. And it's so true, so often we complain about a lack of love but it's all around us in one way or another.

My favorite song by Bjork is Venus As a Boy. I think it's increbibly romantic. And the song captures a sexuality I can relate too. It's not like Justify My Love or Erotica by Madonna. I'm not saying one is better than the other, they are great songs but they capture different types of sexuality. I'm not into bondage so Erotica wouldn't be my song, you know what I mean?? but Venus as a boy is totally me. I'm all about that tender, cheeky sexuality. And I could totally sing it to a guy.

I'm rambling.

It's a headphones record. In my opinion, Vespertine and Medulla both are. They're better than the others in a really audiophilic way- they go further into her aesthetic and are recorded in a much more overwhelming and sensual style. And obviously they're also much more idiosyncratic lyrically (and I don't mean that as a compliment), but I don't care.

To me they have the unfortunate effect of making her early records sound dated. They're still good, tho. But Homogenic is the type of record you blast from the stereo. It's very dramatic and aggressive.

Holy jeez! me too... Venus As A Boy is sooo sexually charged for me! and Pagan Poetry is very erotic in an unintentional kinda way
