| | | Feist Appreciation thread and YouTube videos here.
Let It Die is possibly my favourite album of the decade and I love the cuts from the new album ("Honey" and Intuition) and the two songs we didn't get here in Canada (Tout Doucement and Amourissima, on the UK version). We got L'Amour Ne Dure Pas Toujours. We didn't get jipped, no one did, just sad we couldn't get them all on one slightly bigger album...
There's an awesome live feed of a 45-minute show she did for KRCW's Morning Becomes Ecletic. If you love her stuff, you should just veg out and listen to it in the background.
Here: http://www.allthingsfeist.com/?p=28
If you want, you can find the video of it somewhere. That would be great for light watching.
YouTube: Inside & Out Mushaboom (Newer Video, Radio Edit) Mushaboom (Older, Canadian Version) One Evening (dancing with Buck 65) Broken Social Scene's Almost Crimes Broken Social Scene's 7/4 (Shoreline)
BTW, that user artscrafts is the official label, so they have all of their bands' videos up, or at least most of them. (Don't think they have Stars' Look Up or something.)

| | | She's utterly fabulous.
She deserved a way better ad than bloody conservative, boring, overpriced Lacoste. |

| | | That harmony she does with the loop pedal on this song made my entire week when I heard it. I always sing it with Mushaboom now!
I fucking love this performance. And the KRCW Morning Becomes Eclectic show, which I can't seem to find anymore...
And I'm stealing your tickets, starrbelly. Stealing them, I say. |

| | | Feist Announces New Album Feist Announces New Album
Hey, remember Leslie Feist? The girl who used to do raunchy electro with Peaches and is now a contributor to Broken Social Scene and a folky, discoy solo artist in her own right? Yeah, she was all the rage in 2005, wasn't she?
Well, on April 23 worldwide, and May 1 in Canada and the U.S.A., Feist will release the follow-up to Let It Die (not counting the odds-n-ends collection Open Season) It's called The Reminder, and, if previous reports are correct, it features contributions from Jamie Lidell, Gonzales, Mocky, and Renaud LeTang.
Feist has announced a handful of spring European shows in support of The Reminder, with the promise of more to come.
Dates: 04-16 London, England - Komedia
04-17 London, England - Shepherd's Bush Empire
04-19 Bourges, France - Printemps de Bourges Festival
04-23 Berlin, Germany - Hebbel Am Ufer
04-26 Paris, France - Le Grand Rex

| | | She wasn't really all the rage in 2005. Well, in Canada maybe, but I didn't see so much of it in the States.
She really wasn't.
And I've heard some of the new stuff. Just as fantastic as the last album, which is unbelievably good. The best fucking album of the 21st century, I'll go so far as to say that! So fuck your (non-Arts & Crafts) indie bands, they suck shit next to Feist in my books. I will not consider otherwise.
I'll be buying the CD and any singles I can get my hands on. And posters, mugs, tickets, T-shirts, I'll get a tattoo, I'll scream Feist for 8 hours in the city for free. I love Feist. Don't doubt it.
Okay, I need to... leave the thread. Now. Oh my.
