I checked off the Cat Power train at You Are Free, which was half good and half terrible. Everything since has either been bland or awful. I'm not sure I should even bother with the new one.

The Greatest used to bore the **** out of me, but eventually the songs all started to click. Just not enough to really justify the time spent getting into them.

The songwriting here sounds just as bland. I could probably get into them, but the playing and production on this one annoy me. The Greatest was boring but pretty, this one gives me a headache.

I wish her songs were better because she has one of my favorite voices.
