ive been listening to this for a few weeks and i do really like it. i havent paid this much attention to any of his albums since mellon collie. its not a 'singles' album. i cant picture any song being a radio/video hit now or 20 years ago and it doesnt sound like he's trying for that. my favorite is violet rays. its being called a 'return to form' which is a lazy way to tag an album. i wouldnt call it a rehash but he is tapping into those muses.

Sportses. Our local team are doing all well and ****.
