Are way too 90s. But almost impressively so, it's a sort of monomania. KR would have big-upped them back in the day. Way back in the day.
Anyway, they make me laugh. Because the video was so self-consciously 90s. Yuck!
I think they're endearingly retro, despite the fact their music is pretty boring. I'd totally have read an extensive article on them in NME circa 1997?

I do like them actually. I've seen them play a couple of times; once supporting Teenage Fanclub and then at their own gig in Manchester. They are very obviously indebted to early to mid nineties alternative music, but they're still far less up their own arses than most indie/alternative bands these days.

Yeah. I enjoyed the gig overall, but they were pushing it a bit towards the end with that weird jam/freakout thing they were doing. I'm assuming they probably did the same when you saw them, Duchess?
