| | | Silverchair I know we must have some fans here. Show yourselves.
I just truly love this band. And I can't get enough of the studio vids of the new album demo that they have on their website right now. Great stuff.
Anyone else a fan? (yes, I had a crush on Daniel Johns for a while. he's still looking good)

| | | I've always had a thing for Daniel. Their music has gotten better and better with each album. The first time their music really appealed to me was during the Neon Ballroom era, but it was sort of hit and miss. Diroama is great and the new stuff sounds really promising. |

| | | Yeah, I've been a fan since high school, when I first heard of them in around 1994, early 95.
Frogstomp is an album of the times with only a few good songs, but they certainly improved starting with "Freakshow"..Neon was top notch as was Diorama.
I would like to know when they are coming out with a new album. |

diorama is one of my favourite albums ever. it's interesting to see the band's growth since Frogstomp. i wasnt too keen on the dissociatives, though.

| | | Neon Ballroom is amazing, and to echo everyone else, I've been blown away for a while now by the successive growth they've had from their early stuff to the recent.
And I am quite excited about the new album. |

| | Neon Ballroom still has my heart as my favourite album (of theirs and of all) but Diorama was certainly the album of theirs that impressed me most musically. I'm getting pretty excited about the new album too. Quote: |

| | | Ben used to work in a local CD store when they finished with the 'Neon Ballroom' tour - I always found that funny for whatever reason.
A few years back I went to see what was meant to be a Silverchair cover band & out comes the real Silverchair playing most of 'Neon Ballroom' before it had been released........ it was quite an amazing show.

| | | I hate that shit....ohhhh daniel is sooo fuckin hawt!!! Yeah and?
Did you become fans for the music or are you mainly just into staring at Danny boy.
It's almost like those girls who love Nirvana now..they were in diapers when he died, yet say they love Nirvana when in reality they are mystified with Kurt, and think singing along to "about a girl" means their into the band. |
